Since I’ve been in Trentino in the winter of 2019, I’ve always wanted to go back in the summertime. Back then I was already in awe looking at those mountains from a distance and now I was able to find a partner as enthusiastic as I was to go there. So we decided to go hiking for a weekend.

So on Saturday, we decided to do Sassolungo, and as everything as it was in our trip, we decided it last minute. The hike started as soon as we got out of the funivia already at 2.280m. So luckily for was, it wasn’t a steep hike. We totally took our time to walk in a good pace, stop for some good pictures and enjoy all the refuges we were interested in. We started at Ciampinoi and finished our hike on the other side of the Sassolungo. No need for words to describe it’s beauty, so I’ll just leave the photos – which absolutely doesn’t describe it enough either.
